    Lauren Potach, PT, BCIAC-PMDB

Lauren, co-owner of WellSpring Physical Therapy, grew up in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona.  She came to Creighton University in Omaha to pitch for the Bluejay softball team, earning her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science.

A graduate of the physical therapy program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Lauren began her career at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Here she received extensive training in women's health physical therapy.

Lauren went on to become the Women's Health Coordinator for Methodist Health System, continuing to expand her training in advanced pelvic floor dysfunction to include male and pediatric problems.  She was one one of the first in the country to receive certification in pelvic floor biofeedback from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America.

Enjoying all aspects of specialty practice, her clinical interests include vaginisimus, pregnancy-related sacroiliac dysfunction, and pediatric incontinence.

Personally, Lauren cheers on the Creighton Bluejays at every opportunity and is now living at local ball fields watching her three children play sports.  She is an active member of Saint Margaret Mary Parish in Omaha.

    Julie Bartels-Hiscock, PT, BCIAC-PMDB

Julie, co-owner of WellSpring Physical Therapy, was born and raised in Beatrice, Nebraska.  She went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska.  While at Hastings, she competed for both the Lady Bronco basketball and tennis teams.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center physical therapy program, Julie went on to begin her career at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa where she was employed for seventeen years.  At Jennie Edmundson, Julie received extensive training in women's health issues, including treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction and the treatment of the pregnant client.

She was one of the first in the country to receive certification in pelvic floor biofeedback from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America.  Julie's area of special interest is the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in adults (both women and men).  Other areas of interest are treatment of the pregnant client, post-partum clients with Diastasis Recti Abdominus, and the osteoporotic or osteopenic client.

Unlike her business partner, Julie is a Husker at heart.  She has two children, Bart and Alexandra, and she is an active member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha.
